From the Families We Work With
A range of experiences across our three services.
"After my father passed, my siblings and I had no idea where to begin. The Process Orientation Guide was genuinely the clearest thing anyone put in front of us. It didn't tell us what to decide, but it told us what existed and where to look — which was exactly what we needed at that point."
June 2025 · Process Orientation Guide
"We had documents in four different places — some in my mother's bedroom, some in a filing cabinet nobody had opened in years, some in an old safe. Bequestly came and worked through everything methodically. The index they produced is genuinely useful; I can actually find things now."
May 2025 · Document Sorting & Index
"My main concern was that they would start giving us opinions about what to do with things. They didn't, not once. Everything they did was sorting and explaining — really helpful without crossing that line. That's exactly the kind of service my family needed."
June 2025 · Document Sorting & Index
"We commissioned the Memory and Legacy service for my grandmother's eightieth birthday — recording her stories and cataloguing sixty years of family photographs. The finished archive is something we will genuinely keep forever. The care they took was evident in everything."
May 2025 · Memory & Legacy Documentation
"As an expat managing an estate across two countries, I had no real picture of what Thai processes looked like. The guide was clear, well-organised, and pointed me in the right direction. I did wish the digital version had been interactive, but as a reference document it's excellent."
June 2025 · Process Orientation Guide
"The team was patient with our family. There were a lot of us involved and a lot of old papers in mixed condition. They took it all very steadily, which mattered during a difficult time. The final index is clear enough that my siblings can use it without having to ask me each time."

Detailed Accounts
A closer look at three families who used our services, and how the process unfolded for them.
A Retired British Couple, Silom District
Service: Process Orientation Guide · May 2025
The Situation
Both retired, long-resident in Bangkok, managing assets in the UK and Thailand. Neither had a clear picture of what processes their adult children would face in Thailand when the time came. Felt overwhelmed by the terminology involved.
What We Did
Delivered the Process Orientation Guide adapted to their particular combination of assets and locations. Held a review session to walk through each section and answer questions. No advice given at any point — only information and pointers to relevant official sources.
The Outcome
Left with a clear written picture of the Thai inheritance process landscape and a list of professionals they would need to consult. Described the guide as "the starting point we didn't know we needed." Completed over two weeks.
"We had been putting this off for years simply because we didn't know where to begin. Now we know what questions to ask and who to ask them to."
A Thai Family Managing Their Mother's Records, Bang Rak
Service: Document Sorting & Index · June 2025
The Situation
Three adult siblings responsible for their elderly mother's household in Bang Rak. Decades of documents in no order — land certificates, bank correspondence, old policy documents, and family registration papers scattered across multiple drawers and boxes.
What We Did
Worked across three sessions on-site. Sorted all documents into seven categories, labelled folders in Thai and English, and produced a typed personal index listing each document and its location. Provided a checklist of records commonly needed in Thai estate processes.
The Outcome
A fully organised document set with a working index. All three siblings can now locate specific records independently. The checklist identified two documents that needed to be obtained from government offices — something the family had not been aware of. Completed in three weeks.
"It sounds simple — sorting papers — but when you're in the middle of worrying about your parent's health, it genuinely isn't. Having someone calm and methodical handle it was a real relief."
An Extended Family Preserving Their Grandmother's History, Chiang Mai
Service: Memory & Legacy Documentation · May 2025
The Situation
An extended Thai family with a grandmother who had kept meticulous records and photographs of five decades of family life. Concerned that these materials would be lost or damaged as the household changed. No system in place.
What We Did
Conducted five guided conversations to record family history, place photographs in context, and document key events and people. Catalogued 340 photographs with descriptive notes. Produced a digitisation plan and delivered a bound printed archive volume and structured digital folder.
The Outcome
A complete written and photographic family archive. The bound volume was presented to the grandmother at a family gathering. The digital folder was shared with family members in three countries. The digitisation plan was carried out by the family over the following two months. Completed over six weeks.
"The archive is already the most-treasured thing in our family. Having our grandmother's voice and her photographs in proper order — it's something we would never have done ourselves."
