Keeping Family Records in Good Order

Bequestly was founded on a simple belief: that every family deserves clear information and well-kept records, handled with genuine respect.

Our Story

Bequestly was established in Bangkok after its founders spent years watching families struggle to find their footing after a bereavement — not for want of resources, but for want of a clear starting point. Stacks of papers in no particular order. Important documents misplaced. Processes nobody had taken time to explain in plain language.

The answer, we felt, was not another advisory firm telling families what to do, but a quiet, orderly service that helped them understand what exists, gather what they have, and keep a lasting record of who they are. That is what Bequestly does.

Based on Surawong Road in Bang Rak, we serve Bangkok families, expatriate households, and people across Thailand who need careful, non-advisory documentation support. Our work is methodical, our handling discreet, and our pace set entirely by yours.

Our Mission

To make the landscape of inheritance and legacy documentation understandable and accessible to every family — without offering advice, taking sides, or rushing the process.

Information, Not Advice

We explain processes and organise records. We do not tell families what decisions to make.

Respect for Every Circumstance

Families come to us at difficult moments. We take that seriously and never rush.

Complete Discretion

Everything we handle is treated with full confidentiality. Original documents are always returned.

How We Work

The standards we hold ourselves to across every service we provide.

Confidentiality Protocol

All personal documents and family information are handled under strict confidentiality. No materials are shared or retained without explicit consent.

Document Return Policy

Every original document provided to us is returned on completion of the engagement, with a record of what was received and what was returned.

Clear Communication

We explain each stage of a service before beginning and keep you informed throughout. No surprises, no jargon.

No Advisory Boundary

We observe a strict boundary between information and advice. If a matter requires a professional opinion, we say so and help you find the right source.

Personal Approach

Every engagement is managed by a named team member, not passed between departments. You deal with the same person from start to finish.

Data Protection

Digital materials and personal data are handled in line with Thailand's PDPA framework. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Documentation as a Form of Care

Inheritance processes in Thailand involve a number of official steps — registrations at the Land Department, declarations at provincial offices, and the gathering of records that may span decades. For many families, particularly those navigating this for the first time or managing cross-border circumstances, the path ahead is anything but clear.

Bequestly exists to provide orientation in that landscape. Our Process Orientation Guide collects publicly available information into a single, readable resource, pointing families toward the right government bodies and the kinds of documents typically involved. It does not substitute for qualified legal counsel, and we make that plain.

Our Document Sorting and Index service addresses a different problem: the physical and emotional difficulty of finding order in a household's accumulated papers. Birth certificates alongside utility bills. Land title deeds in an unmarked folder. Passports with no clear location. We bring a calm, systematic method to sorting, labelling, and indexing those materials so that families — and those who assist them — can find what they need without unnecessary difficulty.

The Memory and Legacy Documentation service recognises that a family's records are more than administrative instruments. Photographs, handwritten letters, notebooks of family history — these are the fabric of a family's identity. We catalogue and preserve them thoughtfully, with a digitisation plan that helps ensure they remain accessible for future generations.

In all of this, Bequestly holds to one principle: careful, respectful service that keeps the family's own decisions firmly in their own hands.
